The RouteOne Advantage

The core RouteOne platform is available to all franchised and independent automotive dealerships at no cost. RouteOne is an open lender platform intended to serve the dealer community as the one-stop shop for credit finance needs.  As such, it is our sincere hope that you will utilize the platform as your first choice for conducting all of your finance transactions.

RouteOne’s motivation is not to enrich itself at your expense; rather it’s a tool provided to improve the long-term profitability of your business.

Setup and Activation Instructions

STEP ONE: Begin Enrollment (Owner: Dealership)
The first and most important step in the enrollment process is completing and signing the Dealer Participation Agreement (DPA.) The DPA is an agreement that describes services provided by RouteOne, the dealer’s requirements for use, dealer eligibility, and data sharing.  After signing the DPA, your dealership is ready for enrollment. Tips on completing the agreement, below:

  • Page One: Enter the current date, your dealership’s DBA name, and dealership address.
  • Page Three: The ‘Dealer’ signature block must be signed by an authorized individual within your dealership.
  • Appendix A: Print the names of each RouteOne participating Finance Source with whom you wish to share Anonymous Dealer Data (data stripped of all personally identifiable information).
  • Appendix B: Complete the 'Primary Dealer System Administrator' and the 'Secondary Dealer System Administrator' contact information blocks.
  • A Dealer System Administrator (DSA) is a dealership designated employee responsible for the administration of the RouteOne system, including the setup and management of system users, finance sources, and credit bureaus. The DSA serves as the primary RouteOne/dealership contact.
  • Review the DPA for completeness (full address, contact information, etc.) and legibility.
  • Fax pages one through three, plus Appendix A and B, to RouteOne at 248.862.7182.

STEP TWO: Create Dealer Account (Owner: RouteOne)
The delivery of your signed agreements to RouteOne allows us to begin creating and activating your account.  Upon receipt of your completed contracts, RouteOne will begin the setup of your dealership.  A RouteOne Dealership Account will be created for your dealership.  During this step, RouteOne will issue your dealership an account number. Additionally, the RouteOne Dealer System Administrator (DSA) will be assigned an initial User ID and Password.

A RouteOne Enrollment Agent will send you two emails: one containing your RouteOne User ID, and one containing your RouteOne password and training material/links.

STEP THREE: Activation (Owner: Dealership)
When you receive your RouteOne User ID and password, simply login to the RouteOne system at www.routeone.com (click ‘Login’ located in the upper right hand corner). Complete the online screens to finalize your enrollment and set up your dealership users, finance sources and credit bureaus. You may then begin using RouteOne to send/receive credit applications.
