What You Need to Know to Update Your eSigning Experience 

For Apple iPad® Users 

Already own an iPad or considering purchasing one? You can download the RouteOne Mobile eContracting Application.

Other Tablets and Computer Users

For non-Apple devices, you and your customers can eSign documents in the RouteOne platform without additional equipment. From your desktop computer or tablet device, navigate to  www.routeone.net/esign and follow the instructions.

How do I download the Mobile eContracting Application to eSign with an iPad?

You can download the Mobile eContracting Application from the Apple App Store® directly to your iPad. Use your RouteOne User ID and Password to log into the application and complete the signing process according to the steps below: 

1.    After downloading or updating the Mobile eContracting Application, multi-factor authentication is required to register your device. 
2.    You'll then be prompted to answer one of your challenge questions and retrieve a token code from your email address. 
3.    Access updates to the application by downloading the most recent version in the Apple App Store.

*Please note, appropriate RouteOne user permissions are required for eSigning.

 

What if I don't have an iPad?

Using a computer or an Android™ tablet, visit www.routeone.net/esign to initiate and complete the eSigning process.

 

Do I need to purchase new hardware to use the eSign App/URL?

No new tablets or additional devices are required. Dealers can download the RouteOne Mobile eContracting Application from the Apple App Store for iPads OR navigate to www.routeone.net/esign on their desktop or tablet web browser to use RouteOne eSigning. More eSigning details.

 

Is the eSign App/URL compatible with Microsoft Edge® and Google Chrome™ browsers?

I use RouteOne Menu Powered by MaximTrak for my aftermarket forms. Can I sign menu paperwork with the Mobile eContracting Application or the eSign URL?

RouteOne offers multiple signing options for our menu users, like the FLITE® interactive touchscreen tablet menu. For dealers who want to create a single signing experience, you can push RouteOne Menu forms into the eContracting workflow along with other contract package documents.

My dealership workflow includes signing the credit application with a signature pad before eContracting. How could I adjust my process to the preferred method?

All electronically unsigned and submitted RouteOne credit applications are automatically included in the eContracting signing workflow, so no additional steps are required to capture customer signatures during the credit application process. 

You can also consider our Digital Retail Services that feature an online credit application that embeds into your dealership's website. Create a modern purchase process for your buyers and another effective way to eSign credit applications.

My dealership uses Remote eSigning with eContracting. When multiple buyers are involved in a deal, can I use both Remote eSigning and the Mobile eContracting Application or eSign URL?

At this time, these two experiences cannot be used together on the same contract. Please use your mouse to capture your signature and the second customer's signature to complete the eSigning process.

 

I use signature pads for other applications within my dealership. Can I still use my signature pads for non-RouteOne programs/applications?

Please work directly with these organizations to determine your signature pad device's continued support and compatibility.
