November 15, 2023

RouteOne, a Farmington Hills-based FinTech, is pleased to announce they are the proud recipient of several awards recognizing the positive and thriving workplace culture the company has fostered.

The accolades are based on an anonymous employee survey administered by a third party that measures the critical drivers of an engaged culture essential for an organization's success. This year, RouteOne received the Top Workplaces 2023 Technology Industry National Award. The company also ranked nationally in six additional subcategories, including Top Workplaces Compensation and Benefits, Work-Life Flexibility, Employee Appreciation, Employee Well-being, Professional Development, and Remote Work.

RouteOne also received the Top Workplaces 2023 regional award from The Detroit Free Press for the seventh time.

RouteOne's 500+ team members, located throughout the US and Canada, enjoy a remote work environment with opportunities for in-person collaboration. They excel in a collaborative and agile atmosphere that helps the company better respond to the swiftly moving marketplace.

RouteOne's current cultural efforts include:

INNOthon – An in-house event for team members across multiple levels and functions to collaborate and have a creative outlet for innovative ideas about RouteOne's operations. The 3-day event brings together people, processes, and products to generate innovative ideas, helping RouteOne explore new operational opportunities and improve current capabilities.

DE&I Initiatives – RouteOne continues to focus on building its diverse team.

Through posting on diverse job boards, striving for diverse interview panels, and peer-to-peer consultation on upward mobility, they are building a more inclusive workforce.

They also encourage team members to build Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to foster connections with peers with similar interests and backgrounds.

A Women in Leadership Group was created to empower and inspire women in management to realize their full potential and drive positive change in their lives, careers, and communities.

Mini Town Halls with CEO – These events allow RouteOne team members to have a chance to be heard and foster an open-door policy that encourages employees to reach out to upper leadership.

Team Engagement – RouteOne has several events and services in place, including:

R1 Live – To continue to build connections in a remote work environment, team members can gather in person at the RouteOne headquarters every quarter.

Company Events – Multiple times a year, the staff gathers for social events to celebrate achievements and success and bond as a team outside of work.

Health and Wellness Support – The staff has quarterly wellness newsletters and events, Wellness Wednesdays, and lunchtime virtual live exercise classes.

Community Service Events – Team members participate in volunteer shifts at local food banks, walks for local charities, holiday gift collections, and other philanthropic events and activities.
